Construction of the Vista Canyon Bus Transfer Station has gone vertical with completion of the shade canopies, which cool the buses between routes, and allow safe entrance for riders, with ADA access at every bus. Looking towards the rear of the site, the masonry walls of the restroom and security buildings are taking shape.

Several sustainable design features are also under construction. A focal point of the sustainable design is the massive bioswale in the median of the bus drive aisle.  The bioswale is designed to naturally filter rain and runoff from the station before returning the water to ground sources.   The Vista Canyon Bus Transfer Station is also being constructed with purple pipe making it the first location in Santa Clarita to utilize recycled water for landscape irrigation.
