The recent article “Love Plants? You Might Be a Biophiliac” in Architectural Digest explores the way Biophilic design, design that connects humans and nature, can improve overall wellness. Access to nature and light-filled retail, home and office spaces are just a couple ways that Vista Canyon has integrated Biophilic Design into its community.

In addition to the community garden and preserved oak trees, Vista Canyon’s spectacular location at the edge of the Angeles National Forest reminds us how important it is to take care of the earth we share and to enjoy nature’s bounty! In Vista Canyon outdoor relaxation and recreation are at our doorstep — camping or rock climbing at Vasquez Rocks are just a short hike away.

One hundred miles of adjacent hiking, biking and equestrian trails and paseos also surround our community. Vista Canyon has 10 miles of dedicated walkways including a few miles along the river and train tracks. Vista Canyon also contains multiple parks. The Vista Canyon Rose Garden will be full of colorful flowers, a scenic pond and one of the series of pocket parks and town greens. This collection of rich Vista Canyon resources and amenities combine to create a community that makes it easier for residents to be healthy, happy and interact with one another while embracing a refreshing work and life balance.
