Vista Canyon is about to get even sweeter! C&A Cafe and Creamery is opening up a location in our Gensler building. Featuring their fan favorite made-to-order ice cream sandwiches, C&A will be the newest addition to our growing community here in Vista Canyon.

The storefronts on the ground floor of our office building are filling up, and cafe owners, Munira Aboujaoude and her husband, say the “urban concept and opportunity for development” is what drew their business to Vista Canyon. This second location for the shop will expand on their original goal for both a cafe and creamery. They will offer not only delicious treats, but breads, spreads, one of a kind sandwiches and of course avocado toast.

The shop is currently in construction and Munira highlighted just how smooth the development process has been as she works with Jim Backer, CEO of JSB Development. “Jim himself has been so wonderful in helping us. And usually you deal with the management company, and it’s not like that. He is hands on. I can call him on the phone and he will answer and make it such a smooth process.”

Our favorite part of the C&A story is that it all started with the business owners’ kids, Christian and Audrey. Hence the name “C&A,” Christian and Audrey were the ones that dreamed up the idea of opening an ice cream shop, and they also designed the store’s logo that is still used today. Their mother Munira shares that once she saw they’re passion, along with her background in cooking and baking, she and her husband decided to follow their dreams.

According to Munira, one of the best aspects of their shop is being a place where families and friends celebrate major life moments and achievements. They also love providing a fun environment for people of all ages to connect together while enjoying a sweet treat. Vista Canyon is thrilled to bring these sweet (and savory) dreams to life, and soon you can enjoy them with family and friends too.
