A SHORT RIDE TO LAEMMLE THEATER

Another reason anticipation surrounding Vista Canyon is so high? Its destination perfect location, of course! While Vista Canyon will introduce its own fantastic mix of shops, restaurants, coffee houses, services and entertainment –- plus an entirely new job center – to Santa Clarita’s east side, the community also enjoys “next-door-neighbor” proximity to Old Town Newhall and the exciting transformation taking place there! Over the past decade, public and private investments have transformed Main Street and surrounding areas of Old Town Newhall into an emerging Arts & Entertainment District. The City of Santa Clarita recently announced that in the next couple of years, Laemmle Theater — Los Angeles’ premiere art house — will open a 7-screen, 500-seat movie theater in the heart of this area. Laemmle will join an eclectic assortment of boutiques, restaurants, a newly minted public library and historic points of interest that recall Newhall’s Wild West history. Like Vista Canyon, the area has one of three Metrolink stops along the super-convenient Antelope Valley rail line.
