Ride bikes, scooters, skates or horses; run or walk, but the best feature of Vista Canyon’s ten miles of bike, pedestrian and equestrian trail system may be the way it seamlessly connects to more than 100 miles of adjacent trails and paseos winding their way through Santa Clarita and into neighboring mountain systems.

Vista Canyon’s trail system will extend the existing Santa Clarita River trail (providing both pedestrian/bike and equestrian trails) on eastward and westward on both sides of the River. A recently updated trails map now shows the interconnected network in its entirety.

Within Vista Canyon, these pleasant paths will make foot or pedal power the preferred mode of travel to or from work, home, shopping or fun times with friends. In fact, no location within Vista Canyon is more than a breezy 10-minute walk from Lincoln Place, the community’s future ”Town Square” of retail, employment and entertainment. This easy-to-navigate network runs throughout and around the community and along the Santa Clara River.

Thoughtfully designed to be one of southern California’s most transit-focused, walkable and connected communities, outdoor recreation and proximity to nature are “naturally” part of the plan.
